  • The SCHWEISSEN trade fair is the Austrian commercial stage for joining, cutting, surfacing, testing and protecting. It alternates with the world’s leading fair Schweissen & Schneiden in Essen, Germany and also takes place every four years in the capital city of Austria’s largest business region – Linz.

During the 3-day show the event features all the latest issues and developments in joining, cutting and surface treatment. SCHWEISSEN is Austria’s only specialist trade for these sectors, and is both a showcase for innovation and a platform for business activity. Networking, knowledge transfer and technical expertise are the key aspects of the event that stimulate and inspire business and encourage economic growth.

At the SCHWEISSEN fair visitors from large and small scale industries and manufacturing businesses can discover practical solutions for business success, whether they build prototypes, limited series, serial mass production items, or industrial plants. Design Center Linz plays host to the latest methods, machines, devices and services for all welding-related activities, and to discussions about related current issues.

The SCHWEISSEN in Linz is accessible to all domestic visitors, as well as to specialists from southern Germany and the Czech Republic. The clear focus on target groups ensures maximum contact efficiency and maximum benefits for exhibitors and visitors.
